There are three partridge species: the Small Partridge, the Mountaineer Partridge ("perdiz montaraza") and the "Martineta Copetona" (Eudromia elegans). Due to the numbers of these birds in the wild, there is a daily bag limit of 10 Small Partridges, 10 Mountaineer Partridgea and 3 "Martinetas" per shooter, all from different fields.
